Come home to yourself.
Individual and couples therapy in Pasadena and online throughout California.
I help individuals and couples get curious about what is happening underneath the patterns that keep them stuck, so they can relate to themselves and the people they love with more honesty, freedom and choice.
Maybe you understand the pattern. You just don’t know how to stop living inside of it.
You may be thoughtful, self-aware, and very good at holding things together. You may even understand where a pattern began, yet still find yourself overthinking, shutting down, people-pleasing, becoming defensive, or repeating the same relational dynamics.
Therapy can be a place to slow the pattern down and listen for what is underneath it: feelings that have not had room, protective parts working overtime, and old adaptations that no longer fit the life you want now.
You do not need to arrive with the perfect explanation. We can start with what is happening now.
Therapy for the whole person. Therapy that makes room for the whole story. Not just what is happening, but how you came to be here, what keeps repeating, and what might begin to change.
For anxiety, depression, relationship patterns, identity, grief, trauma, and life transitions. It may also be that quiet feeling that something needs to change, even if you cannot name it yet. Together, we can explore the experiences and patterns shaping how you feel and relate, creating more room for connection, choice, and meaningful change.
Individual Therapy
Couples Therapy
For couples caught in defensiveness, distance, recurring conflict, eroded trust, or difficult decisions. Together, we’ll work and understand it, rather than simply determining who is right.
My Approach
Insight matters. So does what happens in the room.
You don’t need to know exactly what to say or where to begin. We can start with what is happening now. I bring warmth, curiosity, and close attention to our work, helping you notice patterns, understand yourself more deeply, and make space for what may be difficult to feel or put into words.
My approach is psychodynamic, attachment-based, existential, and LGBTQ-affirming. Together, we may explore how earlier experiences continue to shape your relationships, emotions, identity, and sense of self, while also paying attention to what is happening in your life now. I am interested in the patterns that repeat, the ways you have learned to protect yourself, and the parts of your experience that may be asking for more attention.
The goal is not simply insight. It is greater freedom: a deeper understanding of yourself, more room to experience your emotions, and more choice in how you want to live, relate, and respond.
You don’t have to have it all figured out before you begin.
If you are curious about working together, I offer a complimentary 15-minute consultation to learn more about what brings you to therapy and whether I may be a good fit.
